Background

THe Historical Association is the leading association for history teachers in the UK, and internationally. They have large volumes of members all needing to gain access to multiple online respources by dint of their being a fully paid up member. With a small staff, they rely heavily on online join and renewal proceses to maintain their organisation.

What they asked for

HA needed to migrate from Progress to iMIS so that they could reap the benefits of having a web based CRM that was instantly connected with the web in order to reduce the amount of manual processing tgat they were having to do. They needed all their data to be migrated from one system to another, and very complex online join processes created for their varying types of membership.

What we did

We implemented a RiSE member site for them and migrated all their data from Progress to iMIS. We used our specialist direct Debit knowledge to integrate with their Bottomline Direct Debit service. We created online join processes for their members , complete with AFD address validation and CAPTCHA's in their forms, as well as online Direct Debit mandates.

We implemented a RiSE staff site for their staff that was dashboard driven and allowed them to see and control their online processes.

We extracted and converted their Progress data into iMIS.

We used Agile project ,management with Trello, our project management system to visually control, prioritise and manage all tasks within the project.

The Historical Association were delivered a modern, web-based upgradeable solution that will allow them to do more and more on the web, and grow their membership without having to increase head-count.
